I was born in Caracas, Venezuela.  As a young child I developed a passion for design, fashion and modeling.  My childhood and teenage years involved lots of travel to the USA and Europe including living in such diverse cultures as Mexico City, Mexico, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Boston, Massachusetts and Miami, Florida.  I did not realized at the time but experiencing the different cultures and the great people I met on the way would cement the foundation of my creative skills that I have today.

 

Prior to graduating High School I made the decision to follow my passion of design and was accepted at the International Fine Arts College in Miami where I graduated as an Interior Designer. The years in Miami were exciting times, enjoying the ambiance of South Beach and working on projects for Gloria Estefan and other celebrities.

 

Shortly after graduating I got married and my husband's career took us to Austin, Texas where we have enjoyed living for the last twenty years.  We have four beautiful children,  Andres 26, Isabelle 23, Sophia 17 and Daniel 10. Three are Texas natives and as a family we endorse the "Keep Austin Weird" and "Don't Mess with Texas" attitude to life in the State we call home.

 

In addition to Interior Design I have always loved the art of floral design and in 2001 I opened Blooms florist here in Cedar Park.  It was very successful and prided myself with the quality of the product and the loyal customer base.  Due to family commitments I decided to put my business ventures on hold for a while and dedicated myself to being a "Soccer Mom" Blooms was an invaluable experience not only from the creative side but working under pressure.
